    Aplogies - Streamed channels recordings

Maybe this question would be more appropriate in the Dish Network forum?

WOW. What a difference the Bullseye TCXO LNB makes, especially on video feeds. Noticed an immediate improvement in SQ on everything on 99. Also noticed an improvement in SQ on WPR. Thanks Titanium for the suggestion.

Locked a low SR on the Amiko on 87 KU- This is using an Amiko non-PLL LNB, which is remarkable. However, I do not know the audio PIDS for this feed, which appears to be the "Family Life Ministries" mux.

Does anyone have a conical scaler they'd be willing to part with?

Solved: the reason why 99 KU is such a funky satellite

Look at the coverage contour map from SatBeams. This satellite provides great coverage for the east and west coasts, especially LA, NYC, Seattle, and cyberham's neck of the woods in Canada. It's weaker in the Mountain West, Southwest and Plains regions. This explains why I've never had good luck...

We swapped out the Maverick for an Amiko L107 this afternoon and couldn't lock WPR at all. So a PLL LNB is definitely a must.

Even with said LNB, isn't a receiver capable of tuning lower symbol rates and more precise frequencies still required?

OTHER Need recommendation on multi-receiver switch

The LNB on the 90cm dish will stay separate. It has its own dedicated line. Might do the same for C-band, but if a diseqc switch is incorporated, I believe it goes in-line before the 4-way switch.

The splitter arrived. Disabled LNB power on the "slave" receivers as you suggested. So far all 3 receivers are working as expected.

Got my GeoSat Pro 90cm dish I brought with me from Kansas City mounted on an old Dish Network J-pole today. It's fixed on 101 for audio and wild feeds. My roommate bought and contributed the 1.2m dish, which is currently fixed on 99. Both are running Maverick LNB's and have dedicated feeds (no...

OTHER Need recommendation on multi-receiver switch

Ordered this as a temporary solution. Should split the LNB signal to all 3 receivers. Power pass on just a single output. One receiver will be the "master" and provide LNB power and blind scan capability. The "slave" receivers will be able to access the H or V polarity based on what the "master"...
