I was recording the whole 4k Packer-49er game via timer. No video on the channel prior to the timer starting and none throughout the game broadcast. Today the recording replays normal with video.

Are the 4k Joeys supposed to have access to 540 when the H3 has no issue with it? Are the 4k Joeys supposed to play recordings off 540? Are the 540 subchannels on certain orbitals?

I posted earlier in this thread a few weeks ago a Husker game on 540 was in HD and not 4k. I noted this weekend the game was not 4k delivered again. The MLB games are being sent to the TV as 4k.

I've been able to watch the Ch 540 4k and also that provided straight from the satellite feed at the same time. There has been a noticeable difference to my eyes. I can't measure anything off Dish, so it is my opinion.

Take the temp with the gun as close as possible to the tuner. The "spread" of the sensor window will tend to average the measured temperatures of everything it sees. Oh, and my single tuner is stuttering since this S/W update too. This was fixed a while ago, now we're back to broke again.

I'm not sure what your link is addressing, I don't see the tie-in to my question. My 4k Joey failed to play the second broadcast, just as it failed on the first broadcast. I haven't seen anyone have success yet that had the failures.

The Samsung (at least mine) has HDR+, which when turned on "upconverts" non HDR to a pseudo HDR. If an HDR program is detected then real HDR is displayed.

Has anyone with the failure to play the first airing with the 4k Joey had success on the second broadcast?

Same with my attempts to play it on the 4k Joey. I've erased it and set a timer for Thursdays airing.

Perhaps if you posted this in the Hopper forum... Just a thought.
