    Channelmaster Mount Hacking

Yes, this is not a different mold of the reflector. I also do not think that manufacturer made this Frankensteined design. Why should they? Perhaps, one of the first owners lost original feedarms or got the original plastic LNB-holder and decided to attach feedarm from another antenna. The...

    Channelmaster Mount Hacking

Interesting! Could you post some pictures of that notch? Is there a stamp on the back of the dish with the mold number? And what kind of LNB-holder this dish had?

    Channelmaster Mount Hacking

Is that the original Channel Master antenna feedarm? If not, are you sure the LNB is in tight position?

    LNBF problem

I like universal solutions, like on the pictures. It is possible to install C or Ku band LNB in the focus. It is also possible to move scalar closer/further from the dish and to adjust multifeeded LNB fully independently. But, of course, any solution is good when it helps to achieve needed results.

    Satellite Dish by Channel Master

ILoveSats Nice catch, congratulations! Channel Master also has the polar-mount for antennas up to 1.2m. But, in your case, if you wish this antenna to be installed on Diseqc motor, then, yes, you will need to fabricate something, as there is no ready solution available.

    Conical scaler

Of course, conical scalar is needed for LNB when used on offset dish. Flat scalar when the same LNB is installed on PFA. If flat scalar is used on an offset dish than it will overilluminate ( see much more than entire dish surface). Is not this the case you meant by saying word "otherwise"? In...

    Conical scaler

Did you mean that it will see much more than dish surface, including lots of ground noise?

100cm Satellite dish and missing parts

Make a new one, or 3 of them! But make sure that the arms and LNB-holder position the LNB in the way that it 's phase center co-located with the antenna's focal point.

Best LNB and Bracket for HughesNet 90cm Dish

Speaking about water-test. There is one I made on Equatorial dish. As far as I remember, it took about 10 liters of water.

Best LNB and Bracket for HughesNet 90cm Dish

Yes, first T55 was introduced March 2003 (20 years ago). But not North Korean specialists, but from South Korea. Production was organized in Taiwan. There are several true multifocus (single mirror) antennas, for example Swedish SMW-OA-1600 or Equatorial. I have both of them, great dishes IMHO...

Best LNB and Bracket for HughesNet 90cm Dish

I've made it after seeing your problem. Actually, it is more or less common issue when LNB should be installed and adjusted on a round feedarm (usually it is around 1" in diameter). Start from any universal LNB.

Best LNB and Bracket for HughesNet 90cm Dish

Install something like that, then you will have full flexibility adjusting LNB. And when you find out where is the focal point of the antenna, you will be able to adjust LNB in such a way that it's phase center is co-located with the antenna's focal point.

No, it is concave, pure Gregorian type.

    Satellite dish types

This is very popular. For example, Andrew 4.6m ground station is one of them (I have one). The most seldom is Cassagrain offset setup, this, as far as I know is really rare as chicken teeth. Only one company made one model long time ago and that was it. And I have it too, it is on my avatar.

From far away, they may look the same, both double reflection systems. But one has convex SUB, another one concave SUB.

    Satellite dish types

I have the following types installed: - Offset; - Offset Gregorian; - Offset Cassagrain; - Prime-focus Gregorian; - Prime-focus Cassagrain. Do not have simple Prime-focus ATM, but it is not something very special.

Windstorm wrecked the Fortec dish, anyone have a spare part?

@DiscoLoveGrapes Sh*t happens. Maybe it is good sign to upgrade the system? If you think this LNB-holder will fit your dish, you could have it for a price of shipping.

Installing LNB's on Primestar and Vsat KU dishes

Go to thetf\po; nearest metal shop and ask them to make new feedarms and LNB-holders. But before that, try to install 2 other antennas.

Installing LNB's on Primestar and Vsat KU dishes

You can use original collar on your Channel Master antenna (picture #2) as it can 40mm LNB. On the rest of the antennas you better rework the LNB-holders.

Installing LNB's on Primestar and Vsat KU dishes

Put aside all original feedhorns and install simple LNBF (feedhorn integrated). Much simpler solution.
