Hopper+ Software P12901 is out. Manually updated the Hopper+ by manual Check Updates on the About menu from P12803 to P12901.

Maybe in reality, they use different manufacturers for the HDs as this was as of 2015/2016 and the HD manufacturers can always discontinue products and come up with new models. And look at this post where the Hopper 3's HDD is a Western Digital WD20EURX-57T0FY1...

That is a Hopper 3, I wonder if they all use Toshiba 2TB inside, always thought it would be Seagate or Western Digital.

Thanks to the thread, I manually updated Hopper 3 from H374 to H375 and then manually updated the Hopper+ by manual Check Updates on the About menu from P12801 to P12803, do not think P12802 existed as I checked only a few days ago.

The fan may not be completely gone as one can always replace the lubricant with engine oil after cleaning the old lubricant out.

The Hopper 3 will report it is full and stop all recordings once it goes below 120GB of free space.

I think if you can rewind, or go back 10 seconds or even skip, it's satellite. Stream will not allow those functions.

Hard to say as it says "See the current list of channels that can be streamed via your Hopper’s internet connection:" which seems to be more about streaming only in general than Signal Protection channels as their list does include BBC News in the list as you did say in the post I quoted...

H+ has been updated to P12801 from P12509 skipping P126 and P127.

Not complete. The complete list is in the guide where instead of where the HD and SD under the channel number, it will have the word "STREAM".

This problem had been fixed with the Hopper Plus software that came out after P12407 in the P124xx series and remains fixed in P12506 and P12509 so it no longer freezes when the TV is turned on while the Hopper 3/Hopper Plus are still turned on.

That's true too and hopefully it's only bad superblock(s) and nothing severe.

That one is a false alarm as in one part of the video for a brief one minute near the end, it shows DISH with a message that they are sorry for the interruption for service, they are aware of the issue and will get things working as fast as possible.
