    Does anybody know for sure if this drive will work with a HR44-500 receiver? From what I've been reading not all eSATA drives will work. The Genie drive may be failing and I have a chance to pick this drive up fairly cheap.

    I don't know much about DTV so if this is a stupid question please forgive me. I've noticed a lot of DTV systems in my area have one of the 5 sat LNB's plus a wing dish for another satellite. I'm in the Waco, TX DMA. Are 6 sats really needed for some programming?

    Doesn't Dish have a pending lawsuit challenging the Tivo patent that was shown to have some merit? Like in that Tivo never should have been granted a patent in the first place.
