    DirecTV cinema downloads blocking?

    Our receivers appear to be downloading programming cinema content and slowing down our connection. Does the download of cinema content travel on a particular port that I can block from going out to the 'net? I need to keep them plugged into the network for whole home sharing.

    HR24 program sharing over ethernet?

    I have a HR24 and a HR20, I read some time ago that it was possible to connect both units via ethernet through a router. Avoiding the SWM since a DECA comes internally with the HR24. Can anyone confirm if this should work, if I need to call just to add the $3 per month, etc? Thanks

    Is there a reason I can't get both BEV satellites in the Los Angeles area? Are Californian's too far to the west?
