I have finally parted with Dish. Not sure if anyone even wants these boat anchors but I still have 2 721's. Both still worked prior to me putting them away from the kids. I also have a 322 unit too. Let me know if interested.

I have (I believe) a DP-34 switch and both of my 721's hooked up off of that. I purchased a second DP-34 switch. Can I hook the second up then then hook the 322 off of the second switch?

I had to pull this out of the closet. Haven't used it for 4 or so years. Does anyone know if this will work with a DP34 switch? I hooked it up - choose a Dish 500. But it won't see 110 or the switch. Any ideas?

Has anyone had issues with the 721 after the 321 software update? Ie. when changing channels - the screen turning black and it comes up with channel 77 and then pretty much locks up? Or see some chinese/japanese/junk characters near the date and time in the guide?

My brother-in-law just got a 522. I remember from earlier posts about making sure to power down to minimize wear and tear on the disks. I have a 721 and have no problem powering it down. However, I have never seen/used a 522. Any help would be appreciated.

Any recommendations as to which transponders on 110 and 119 should be used if I reaim the dish to get the best signal? Thanks, Khan

My wife noticed at 4 something this morning (she's sick) that the green light was blinking (on our 721 upstairs). Anybody else notice that? I was just saying "boy the picture quality has NEVER (serious!) looked this good. Wonder whats up?" She then mentioned seeing the light blinking...

I have a Dish-721 and would fine it very valuable to be able to create a time from work and have my dish record the event I programmed remotely. Anyone know if dish has a "feature request"?

Does anyone know if you can defrag the hard disk drive in the 721? I'm down to 30 hours remaining and that hard drive is just churning and churning.... Any ideas?
