    dish receiver4900 hookup combo vhs/dvd

    I am having problems hooking up my dish receiver 4900 series to my jvc vhs/dvd combo recorder. It seems I can get vhs or dvd to play and record but not with out unhooking one and hooking up the other. I really could use a diagram. the jvc book is confusing to say the least. Thanks...

    DVR510 shading problem

    I have a question about the DVR510. When ever I am watching a movie with dark areas I can see shadows in the dark areas. I am wondering if this is a pixel problem or if I need an inline Amplifier to boost the signal. thanks for any insights you can give me on this. :)
