    110/119 Listings Post 129 Transition (Updated 7/16/2025)

Nothing new in today's uplink outside of 247's slate being removed. I have updated the listings on the first couple of posts with all the changes that were made previously.

    110/119 Listings Post 129 Transition (Updated 7/16/2025)

As I am cleaning up my data after all of the recent changes, it makes me wonder what Dish's next move could be. Right now, Dish has 36 channels dedicated to Extra Innings, League Pass, Center Ice, MLB Alternate, NHL Alternate, the 4 Big 10 alternate channels, the 3 sports alternate channels...

    110/119 Listings Post 129 Transition (Updated 7/16/2025)

Wow! A lot of changes on Western Arc. Very strange to have all of these changes at once after almost 2 years of minimal movement. As I am looking at the changes, Dish cleaned up 110, TP 21, which was a free for all with a mixture of SD, HD, and music channels. They moved all their SD...

    Peacock TV

Thanks for the info on this. I still have Dish, but once ESPN launches their DTC product, it will really make me think twice because so much of what I watch is sports. But there are these one offs that I don't have to worry about with the cable bundle.

    Peacock TV

I am curious if someone who lives in the streaming world can answer this question. This is one of the things that I am not sure of on completely cutting the cord. Take a look at the Open coverage next weekend. There is streaming coverage on Peacock in the early morning and then there is...

Yet another ATSC 1 or 3 back and forth article

Does it work the first time without the internet connection? I thought the first time it had to have an internet connection then it was 'persistent' (or whatever the word was they used). I thought the true offline DRM where no internet was needed isn't slated until December and version 4 of...

    110/119 Listings Post 129 Transition (Updated 7/16/2025)

Yeah - if I remember correctly, it was removed from DirecTV last week when the filed for bankruptcy and sued Trinity Broadcasting? I was surprised it wasn't removed earlier. The EPG was changed to Dr. Phil True Crime and Dr. Phil Primetime 24 hours a day the past couple of days.

Where did TNT (138) channel go?

That would explain why Dish updated their channel cards on June 30th

    110/119 Listings Post 129 Transition (Updated 7/16/2025)

I went through the satellite/transponder listings and updated it through today, 7/6/2025. Once again, very few things that have changed over the last couple of months.

Where did TNT (138) channel go?

Exactly - that is why when I posted in another thread about the package, I was surprised because I didn't remember any other package having TNT or needing TNT because it was in all the packages.

Where did TNT (138) channel go?

It looks like TNT was removed from the Flex Pack. The channel lineup from June 10 shows it in the Flex Pack: https://my.dish.com/cms-files/channelcards/2025/0610/Channel_Lineup.pdf The channel lineup from June 30, shows it is no longer in the Flex Pack...

    Peacock TV

I got to say, I am getting into this streaming thing. I currently have the $20 Peacock for a year deal and this summer I have spent a lot of time in Peacock - more than I have before. I would say since I last used it during football season, it is a lot more smooth and less buggy. And even...

METV Toon is Coming June 30th!

Is MeTV Toons HD on DirecTV? Not that it makes a huge difference with so many older cartoons, but here in Chicago, when there are cartoons on MeTV Saturday morning, there is a clear difference in quality when watching on the 720p HD feed vs the SD subchannel.

Unsuscribed Channels - NewsNation - not showing up in list

It is all how the channels are flagged. Some are set to be hidden when unsubscribed. Back in the days when Dish had all the RSN's, this is how all the out of market RSN's were programmed and the current sports league packages are setup, and only showed up when subscribed to the multi-sport...

    How things have changed

Just 2 1/2 years ago, the only option was AT&T 25 meg DSL. Then in December 2022, T-Mobile Home Internet became available in my area in a limited amount, and I jumped in to get it. Outside of a couple of issues that lasted a day or two, it has rock solid. Just last summer AT&T's 5G version...

    How things have changed

https://www.theverge.com/news/693762/comcast-xfinity-internet-plans-unlimited-data-caps Comcast is doing away with data caps. This type of move, if followed by some of the other ISP's, just enable streaming to take off even more. In my area, AT&T is the only non-wireless provider and they...

    How things have changed

Thanks for the info! This is something to consider as we move into the streaming realm. If Dish had the equivalent where every single channel on satellite was available by streaming with the exact same satellite channel number, I would get them hooked up immediately. But the whole idea of...

    How things have changed

This is 100% what my parents would run into as well. I wish there was a streaming provider that had all the major networks as channels as opposed to apps. Just like how for the samsung tv you can type in 1065 and get whatever streaming channel that is, but just as easily type in 32 and it...

    Echostar prepares potential bankruptcy filing

    Echostar prepares potential bankruptcy filing

Thanks for this info - I have never been in bankruptcy before, and am not sure how it works. I didn't know if more paying customers, even if they are paying slightly less (just a couple of dollars less or no increase) looks better for the health of a business when presented to a judge/court.

    Echostar prepares potential bankruptcy filing

If Dish ends up filing for bankruptcy, is there a chance that prices would go down or at least not have a large increase each year? I know this is always the case, but especially when a company files for bankruptcy, isn't part of the strategy to try and keep as many paying customers as possible?
