what? I don't get why DRM has anything to do with combining a rf modulator and a dtv converter box into one product.

(none have inputs other than antenna) This is what i am talking about. Why don't they make one with composite inputs that will modulate the signal and send it out with the OTA channels through the coaxial cable???????

reciever is my problem just remembered I never tried going straight to my tv with hdmi and it works! So, seeing as though my blu-ray works fine in both hdmi ins It must be a software incompatability issue. Which sucks balls. FIX THIS DTV!!!

a restart fixes mine to but I does'nt seem like you shold have to do this every day. How long does yours work after a reset? I am debating having dtv send me a replacment dvr but not sure if it will help.

What kind of switch would I need? I have a Zinwell SAM-3402 3X4 multi-switch which is not being used but this looks like it only has 2 sat INPUTS and 4 OUTPUTS. I thought the slimline had a built in switch?

No, there is not any ground block. And yes, there is nothing grounding the receiver. He just cut and pulled the ground wire back mid line and grounded it straight to the service panel. Otherwise the coax lines run continuous from the dish to the receiver with no splices what so ever.
