Agreed, QuickTune is something I've been looking for since the jump from cable. Favorites was a bit too much, for the simple task of just jumping to a favorite channel. My old cable box would jump through my favorites in channel number succession. I think I like this QuickTune feature even more.

Only issue I had was it searching for a signal after the install. After about 15 minutes it was still searching. I rebooted and all was fine, though it didn't look good for a minute there.

Ok.. my second post in this thread. After turning on the TV this afternoon and having to force a manual reboot, I am now on my second auto reboot today. That's 3 total. However, this one is downloading the new software. This oughta be it, finally.

Same here. As a matter of fact, I was here earlier to see if anyone else was having an issue. I turned on the TV this afternoon ...and nothing. I rebooted and all was fine. However, it just rebooted on it's own. I'm not even sure if it's downloaded software at this point. Any news on this...

Hey guys... Just received this update last night. I haven't had time to do much testing, but the guide seems a bit faster. Couldn't find any info here on the forum.

My HR21 froze up on me this weekend as well. After powering up, the menu and picture began acting erratically. After attempting a reset nothing happened, just a blank screen. I called D*. After a few more resets and a forced download, still nothing. The rep asked me to call back after 30...

Had this issue last night as well. Several times, while watching CNNHD. After switching channels and then back again, all was fine.

Still a no, for me. I'm on an HR21-200 and was hoping this update would allow me this feature. Are you on a HR21 and was the feature available to you before today?

Updated for me about 1 am. I'm a new customer and member here, after having lurked for a few days. Soon after Friday's installation I was getting a high pitched frequency coming from my audio receiver when switching channels, about half the time. After this update things seem to be working...
