I just got D* installed on Saturday, and it was a SWiM install. It is so much cleaner to have only 1 cable going to the DVR's, it also seems to be a much simpler install.

I have a Mac Pro tower 8 core and I absolutely love it! I do also boot (bootcamp) into Vista and it still runs slow compared to OSX. I do use Parallels a lot as well. I did have a learning curve, but not as steep as I thought. Almost anything I can do on Windows, I can do on my Mac.

I picked up one at best buy for $300. the first thing I did was upgrade the firmware. I also notoced that in most of the jewel cases it states that you msy have to upgrade the firmware. So far so good, I do enjoy it.

I take the train all of the time, I find it to be very relaxing and peaceful. As a person with a disability, I do feel like I get the assistance and respect that makes me feel welcome.
