CenturyLink leaves Dish and is now selling Directv CenturyLink the third largest telco in U.S. after acquiring Embarq and Quest has officialy stopped selling Dish Network and is now selling Directv. They have alot of customers in 33 states. Not good news for Dish.

you have whats called a double play satellite and dsl pure broadband (pbb) no phone line but you still have dial tone to call 911 services only

just received my new smart card, installed it with no problem,then I noticed my fox hd was gone. I called a service rep up she had to re-add fox because the new smart card was loaded before the new hd channels were on, only took a minute did a check switch rebooted the box and fox was back on ...

I got my 500 dish installed yesterday for the 61.5 sat. got all Cleveland,Ohio locals in hd and also picked up cnn ,what a great picture

go to dish network home page and go to locals put in your address and it will tell you the 4 local channels that are now in hd

Still dont know for sure whats going on with the local hd for Cleveland,Ohio but I called today and spoke with rob ,srv.rep. and he scheduled me for this tuesday to put a 20 inch dish pointing at 61.5 for no charge to recieve the locals in hd. Will reply back on tuesday to let you all know what...
