    Any idea what next local HD channels will be?

    I noticed that the Sticky List of HD Local Markets NOT Available on Dish Network Has both Indianapolis, IN and Columbus, OH set for "February 2009". Can someone provide a source to this February date? Or is it merely speculation.

    Can someone tell me if the new firmware removes the stupid purple border on the PiP? I cannot fathom why they thought PiP needed a border - it's actually detrimental for those with a Plasma, and takes up a couple pixels of viewing area. Just a really bad idea IMHO.

    Yeah, after posting - I started researching more and found that out. Kinda stupid really, even my TV has an ATSC/QAM tuner - I'd have paid the $10 extra for the DVR for it.

    Even with basic cable - you might still (I do) get the local HD feeds in digital. It took my TV a long while to scan, but it finally found my locals from Comcast. Actually, I only have Comcast high-speed internet, but on a whim I used my TV to scan the cable and voila. However, the range of...
