Disagree. Waste of time. Hooking up an A3000 directly to the TV will not solve his problem. It did not solve mine or anyone else that has this TV.

My set IS 1080p/24 and will not pass the test: Sony A3000. There are also many others who have 1080p/24 sets that will also NOT pass the test and I have L613.

Sure I can. They put out a product that isn't working for wayyyy tooooo many of us. If they put a disclaimer regarding their 1080p content stating that certain tv's, by brand and model number, will not work, than yes, I wouldn't be able to blame Dish.........but........they did not do...

It ain't gonna happen because most here are not that technically inclined to know how to get that data. And, I am sure that there are many who's tv's are not physically in the proximity of their computers even if they could figure out how to do it. Example. I, myself, am running on a G5 Mac...

Getting it listed in the program guide is just one of the hurdles. Getting your TV to pass the compatibility test when you try to download it is proving to be an even larger one.

Well, I didn't replace my 722, but since I got the update from 6.10 o 6.12, the video dropouts are no longer an issue.

If what this Sony tech is saying is true about my A3000 (1080p/24), then no, I am not kidding at all, for it is blatant misrepresentation in all of their marketing, brochures and owners manuals.

And that display in the corner is showing the input resolution so what in the hell is that Sony Tech talking about?

If this is true for our Sony sets, this is gonna be a HUGE issue and if this is true for my Sony A3000, believe me, I see an attorney in my future.

Can ANYONE other then this Sony tech support tech confirm if this is true. I have an A3000 and I'm really concerned about this.
