It's not that hard. Just remove the screws on the back panel, pull the cover back and up then off. There is the drive. It has maount with a few screws, sats power and date wires. I have 2 R22s. They are, I believe, the last SD DVRs released. They "will" act as HD/DVRs if you have other HD/DVRs on your account as they have the guts of a HR21. If you don't get HD (odd since it's a HD world, now 4K) then go into the menu and hide HD duplicates.

You don't have to. It's yours. Take it down and trash it if you don't want to keep it. Only some receivers they want bak or the access cards, the rest is yours to do as you wish!

Not for me. I get more HD than cable can offer and 6 HD/DVRs for what it cost me for 2 from cable. Cable is $90 in just HD & DVR fees alone + Multi premium HD feeds plus no dropped channels like my cable providers have done. Happy D* sub since 2007.

Well, you're right. USPS has a contract with Amazon that's worth millions to give them on-time delivery, including Sundays. Our station gets an average of 2 pallets full of just Amazon from Amazon's contracted transporters. That's probably 6-8 for Sundays. But remember, it's not just a USPS...

Sounds like you'll make regular soon then. How do you get out of Amazon Sundays? We have 5 POs here but Sundays it all comes out of our main station and most all CCAs have to do it no matter what station they are assigned to. I'm glad to be regular with seniority. :)

Did you get on as a regular carrier or a CCA? If CCA, get ready to work almost every Sunday delivering Amazon packages! CCAs are used and abused here. A 16yr employee here.

AFAIK there are 3 price plans depending on when you signed up. 1st 1: 10HD/10DVR/3WHDVR, free 1st receiver = $23 (plan I'm on) 2nd 1: 25/Advanced receiver, free 1st receiver = $25 & covers all 3 services 3rd 1: 15/advanced receiver BUT no free 1st receiver anymore = $21

I recently picked up a used Tivo Series 3 with a lifetime sub from an Amazon seller for $120. It gets ALL my local channels and subs and I don't have to pay each month for service. With the HR20s & AM21s I have, I am missing 6 sub channels. (Thanks to "Iceberg" for the suggestion to get one) :)

I hope one is GSN as we watch it a lot. But the only way we get CW in HD is that it is a in HD as a local in Pensacola/Mobile. My spouse watches stuff on it quite a bit. It is just a poor SD sub on our other locals

Try a different USB cable if you can. I had a printer that would lose connection and I had to pull the cable. Turned out the cable had a loose fit. Replaced it and no more issues.
