    The future of 121?

Of all the decent systems out there, you want to connect a Wii? LMAO. PQ Sucks.

    Dish 1000 and 118

You can do the same thing on SuperDish 121. Just move FSS component to the DBS component position by removing and replacing the 4 bolts(philips/hex combo) found near the component. Of course, doing this will make the rest of the bracket useless as you you won't be getting signal on anything...

Rumor Alert: SuperDish Coming Soon to Many

By putting all HD on the wing birds, there is wasted capacity since they will have to replicate the same thing on both birds. They're better suited for locals as each of them can target their regions more effectively. 105/121 is better suited for all since they reach a larger customer base...

    110W Transponders 07 and 13 down?

Well, part of my locals located on the 110W are gone, some PPV and Interactive TV, I thought it was because of the above stated transponders not having signal. It was also an assumption on my part that I did have signal on those transponders before. I have a DP301. I checked on Lyngsat to see on...

    110W Transponders 07 and 13 down?

110W Transponders 07 and 13 have been in and out for me. What I want to know is whether or not it is trouble with the satellite or my equipment? I checked against the actual Dish transponder list on it, the 2 listed are only effected, of course - a whole lot of spotbeams. Thanks

    WTB-DishPro Single LNB

I got a DishPro Dual(yes, that is right, a its a dual output LNBF and its not a TWIN) for $13 or so shipped. The shipping was something like $11, the auction itself ended for littler over 2 dollas. Which sort of amazes me.

Is Dish HDTV Monitor worthy of purchase

Tahoerob, not to mention, PQ on Plasma doesn't compare with DLP. BTW, has anybody of you looked into LCoS?

Is Dish HDTV Monitor worthy of purchase

fslove, I simply suggested that if somebody is in the look for purchasing a RPTV that they look into Grand Wega or DLP screen. Of course there is no comparison as they are quite expensive, but I was suggesting what was worth it and built of quality. No need to hammer down a mere suggestion. I...

Is Dish HDTV Monitor worthy of purchase

After some search, I found out that expected lifetime of the lamp found in your TV is only 2K hours :( Its XL-2100U http://www.globalmediapro.com/av/m/2003/11/06/Sony_Spare_parts-228077.html Now you better have your kids ration their TV viewing.

Do I have to buy a new Switch to add a 811?

Well, if you take a dishnetwork deal with a contract, then they will retrotfit everything for you, but, if you choose to buy everything outright, then you will have to buy it on your own. Then, you are looking at SW64, or if you're lucky you might be able to find SW44 on eGay. I really don't...

Is Dish HDTV Monitor worthy of purchase

ThierryFL thats LCD, LCD screens don't have burn in issues either, its the CRT screens and there are Grand Wegas with CRT screens. I forgot to mention that.

Is Dish HDTV Monitor worthy of purchase

If you're looking into buying a RPTV, I would suggest you go with Sony Grand Wega series or a DLP. Of course, there is bulb cost after 6K~8K hours, but its worth it. The picture is damn bright, Plasma doesn't come near them. One other advantage of DLP is no screen burn in, so you won't need to...

I just called Dish Network about 6000 promo...can't get it

well, I think they ran out of units too, they're having trouble completing installs of those whom already had their orders processed. Some have gotten then 8VSB module, but, no word on receiver install. Some even had their installs cancelled until further notice.

well, for that, you will need 2 SW24s connected the same way SW64s are., and a boat load of SW21s
