Seems worse to me I got the 2.06 FW on Thursday and watched a lot of previously recorded shows and had more audio dropouts than I've ever had. Maybe its just my 522 (my 5th one at that)

I feel your pain...here might be a fix? I've had this happen to me on occasion as well. It seems that it occured on exactly how I selected the show to be recorded. I think if I hit the "record" button on the remote on a show in the future it would do that but if I hit select it would work, or...

No. If you simply hit the power button on the remote, it just goes into a "sleep" type mode. It -should- reboot at night if you have the automatic updates still turned on, otherwise, you need to do the frontpanel reboot to get it to fully reboot itselt. It takes anywhere from 1minute to 5...

Yep. Its hard to give up on the 522 so easily. I really enjoy the features (the legit ones) when they work. :shrugs:
