Is there any way to make it think that it has a satellite connection without hooking up a satellite antenna? I still have the old LNBs.

Thanks - actually on the back of the 530 there is a connection for the UHF remote antenna, and a second connection labeled "antenna in". I can't figure out what it's for. Also - I tried hooking up the now disconnected 9200 strictly as a receiver for OTA with an OTA antenna input hooked up...

I used to have Bell, now have SC - mostly for HD. I have some questions for the experts, concerning the OTA antenna. 1. On the Bell 9200 the "local" digital OTA antenna channels can be tuned in and watched via the satellite receiver. The SC 530 has an antenna input, but no such capability...

Update Tonight no signal visible on any satellite 82 transponders in 36N 84W location. Sat 91 comes in fine. Looks like Starchoice is the only Canadian HD option here. Does anyone have experience with it in this area?

As of last week, a signal measured in Knoxville, TN showed zero on 82 except for transponders 2 & 3. Does anyone else in the nearby area have data. Does anyone know if a larger dish would pull in a better signal?
