I have a quick question....my landlord at first was fine with installing the dish on the roof...now he fears the upcoming windy months he feels that it might damage the roof. ok my question is how much would directv charge to move my dish off the roof onto a pole? thanks shane

the reason i ask is because i cannot receive local channels as i do not have a antenna. the nbc and fox waiver were granted but i still cannot access them...is there another way to receive local channels? would my receiver not being connected to a phone line have anything to do with not getting...

ok...i got everything working but years ago when i had d* i was able to get abc,nbc,cbs and fox both east and west. how do i go about getting these channels again? thanks shane

went on the roof yesterday and when the tech installed the dish he forgot to tighten the 3 bolts that keep the dish moving side to side. all is good know. thanks for everyones help. shane

green light is on...should i try to adjust the dish?

no, on either receiver...the signals were 96's yesterday...i cant figure it out. is it something i can fix?

i am in salisbury md. i have the hd dvr and the regular receiver on the other tv...no signal at all and no channels at all.

i had my directv installed yesterday and everything was working fine until i got home today and i get the searching for satellite error. i get zeros on the meter on both transponders. so i called the service center and the only time they can fix it is wed between 12 and 4, so i tell them i work...
