    We just switched from E* to D* and very happy also. One of the big things we noticed is a better SD picture on a HD tv. With the Dish the picture seemed kind of blurry. Night and day difference with Directv.

    If it is a heat issue why would it be fine for 6-9 months before we had any problem?? Nothing has changed in that area. In fact I'm sure it has been hotter in the house then it was last Wednesday when it happened.

    This is the second receiver that we have had the same problem with. It will work fine for 6-9 months. Then when we have only 30 some hours left to record, it crashes on us. We have to reboot (hard) and it says "Installing New Drive Image". We lose everything that was recorded. Can we not...
