Dish Remote Access for iPad with a new UI

A little odd to reply to myself, but I was able to get the new iPad app to work a little more consistently. In the lower right, go to Settings -> Live TV & DVR. If you see your DVR, select it. After a few seconds, the button to the left of the name turned green, and I was then able to see my...

Dish Remote Access for iPad with a new UI

It does appear faster, and the Watch on iPad button now shows up correctly. Mind you, I STILL can't see any DVR recordings. Just FYI, I have at250 and the HD for FSC is not showing up for me either at 406. One alternative if you have an HTPC or equivalent is to lower your package and do something like foxsoccer.tv. About $14 a month, but you do get quite a few games. I notice that it doesn't overlap with the channel...

DISH NETWORK EXPANDS LOCAL HIGH DEFINITION MARKETS

It has to do with the fact that most of the local market affiliates are owned by different companies. Here in the Little Rock DMA, all four majors are owned by a different company. All the channels that went live are owned by Nexstar (wikipedia.org/wiki/Nexstar_Broadcasting_Group). So Nexstar's...

Little Rock HD Locals - Those Not Being Carried

KARK in HD Well, it looks like KARK has gone HD on Dish. Just Fox to go now.
