I am confused I have a 622 and pay for locals but my epg is just showing "digital service" for my ota channels. it sounds like it should be showing the data?

i have tryed all these things and more. the remote i borrowed does this all the one that came with the 622 will do nothing, maybe its just a dud

I can not change the # on the 6.3 just the 6.0. If i set it the same that is on the screen for tv2 then it still will not control the box.

my new 622 came with a 6.3 remote, no matter what I try i can not get it to control tv2. I have an old 6.0 from the neighbor that works great, i an sysinfo and change the channels on the remote just fine, but with the 6.3 I can not get it to come up at all. batteries in both and they both say...

ok well i fixed it out of error i guess. i was going to go switch the lnb connections. but first i used one of the 522 feeds and ran a check switch 3 times, on the 3rd try it got all 3 sats. i switched back to the normal connection and all is good. makes no sense but its happy now.

turned it off for 15, back on and tryed a check switch, it still just finds one sat, the 110 and it says the 110 device is "feed" and not a DPP Twin anymore? I did a check switch on the 522 and it still gets the lnb and all 3 sats just fine...

My 811 is all messed up today it can get 110 kinda, 129 and 119 are gone, the check switch yeilds errors, can download guide... the 522 box is fine, cables look fine switched 522 and 811 feed and still no good, but 522 box is fine. rebooted, nada. the posts look like the software is in the 2.8...

OK it worked. I got a DUAL lnb on ebay (actually 2 of them for $2 total) and put it on the 110 side of the dish and bam, I have the Dual going into the DPP Twin lnb input and it all works on my 811. So yes I could have had dish come out for $99 and do it but I ended up after buying a switch and...

So all these post and they all seem to have different answers. I have a DP Twin geting a good signal from 129 straight to my 811 box . I have the normal DPP Twin that has a input on it and I rant the good signal from the 129 sat to it and then it will not work. the check switch shows its all...

yes this is what I am doing. but it sounds like if my 129 lnb is were a dual and not a twin this would work? I guess i am assuming dual and twin are the same since they have the same meaning, but maybe not in dish lingo?

So I have tryed a bunch of combos, but I think this should be working... Dish Pro 500 with the 119 feed getting a 90 signal on the 129 bird. I then put that 129 feed into the DPP 500 Input on the LNB (the built in switch) and feed that to my 811 and 522. When I do a check switch they both see...

my 811 will not do the normal tone wen i am trying to point the dish. the audio is fine when i goto a channel and my 522 still does it. i looked in the menu but i dont see a option. is this just me? makes it a pain to try and aim the thing.

I moved and still can't get 61.5 but i did point my $10 ebay special dish over to 129 and got a good signal and called and now have 10 voom channels on and they look great...
