    What brand dish is this?

What looks like what could be seams is likely the back braces. True that DH offers some of their spun reflectors in pieces. They cut the one-piece reflector and weld flanges to each section. BTW, as far as I know DH only uses the back braces on reflectors larger than 3.0m so this one is likely...

Yeah, she's doing great: back to her old, trackin' fool, self. Let's hope she doesn't tangle with any more diamondbacks. Your Mrs. did a nice job on that re-cage. Smelt and cast? ...mine only shoots.

Dang! That's me to a tee, including the race car and home builder. Regarding your avatar: the Castle Doctrine is alive and well at my humble abode.

    Raydx Dish Update

Agreed, but using a partially threaded stud where the center, unthreaded portion, rides in those bushings is what I was suggesting. Not unlike having the unthreaded "shank" of those two screws riding in those bushings but without having to rely on the cast surface of the slotted declination...

    Raydx Dish Update

No problem, Lone Gunman. Another thing that would probably be a big improvement would be to replace the 2 hex screws being used as the hour pivot, with a partially threaded stud of suitable size. In the pic, it appears those 2 screws are not on the same axis, which would cause a bind/undue wear...

Based on your pictures I'm pretty sure it's a Winegard but, just to be sure, check the 4 center tabs on each section (where the center plat attaches). Each should have a 2 digit (year) and a 3 digit (matching set) numbers, probably separated by a dash. If so, it's near certain a Winegard...

IMO, the QuadStar is one of the better built units. Normally, the mount would be with the reflector when you get it but I guess that's not the case with yours. I probably have an extra mount, feed legs, and hardware that you could have but shipping is a killer on big dish parts. If you can find...

    Unknown H2H rotor

I also have a similar mount that came with a Echospere 7-1/2' solid reflector. The one I have is an ECHO EHM-100. The manual is in the FTA manuals section: http://www.satelliteguys.us/xen/threads/fta-manual-additions.339600/

Sure looks like a Winegard QuadStar. The mounting ring should have 8 mounting tabs.... 4 welded to the ring, and 4 bolted to the ring. The 7-1/2 foot version uses the same mount but only has the 4 welded mounts.

Need AJAK 180 H-H mount pics - how do I adjust declination?

about to install 7.5 ft c band dish have a few questions

Well, I'm not going to say it's the best but, I've used grey jacketed cable made by Carol and purchased at Home Depot: 14 gauge, 2 conductor, no shield, for the motor and 22 gauge, 4 conductor, shielded, for the position sensor. (If you're using a reed switch for the position sensor you only...

I'll keep an eye out for this, in-case you guys decide to do this, and add what I have at that time: a few manuals and interesting brochures from days-gone-by is what I have. Thanks, Greg

    FTA file downloads?

Thanks Scott, I've always thought the manuals section was a great resource and had been looking for it to give a little something back to the community, by adding a couple items I had come across. It's unfortunate those files were not able to be transferred but perhaps now would be a good time...

StarScan, That appears to be a Seavey ESR-124; a high dollar item. It's available in 3 different f/D ranges and if the one you have is well matched to your reflector f/D it's supposed to be an excellent performer. (see attached specs) There should be a label on it giving the model number and...
