What if the run was 40 feet? Would the composite cables carry the video signal that far without degradation? I've considered this type of hook-up, also. Since it's only me, I could just get a RF remote for my H-21 receiver and use it in the distant room when I'm in there.

On our H21-100 HD receiver the reception on some HD channels is very poor with excessive pixilation and picture loss. When I check the satellite transponder signal strength it shows on Satellite at 101? the even transponder signals in the mid to high 90s. But the odd transponder signals...
