for my second tv i used the standard coax output below the antenna input, using rg6 cable, which is my only option as that is the only wire capable of going to the other tv. i was just wondering if better reception was possible through that line.

i hooked up a second tv(other room) to my vip612 through the coax output, and the resolution is not HD. is that the way it is? is the vip612 only hd through the hdmi and component output?

i thought maybe a feature could be turned on so that i could at least receive the channel info directly from the tv stations, like when i use my actual tv to tune and watch the locals. but i get the dish receiver blocks that out.

i have the vip612dvr receiver. i get local digital channels through the dish reciever, but i dont get any of the channel info, like i'd normally get when the antenna is hooked to the tv directly. is it possible to receive the channel info on the dish receiver? also, i can manually hit...

alright, i did the switch test with no wires, to clear the settings. i covered the outer lnb's with foil. i can easily pick up 110 on the center lnb, and thats it. why?

thanks for the quick response. one question i have, what parametere should i have selected on the point dish screen when i am trying to re-align? and do the switch settings need to be cleared, so that the sattelites get picked up by the right lnb?

hi guys, i have a dish 1000.2 and i am having a hard time aligning my dish.(moved to new location) i can only pick up the 110 and 119 satt. i cant get 129. my switch says: 1 2 3 4 110 x 119 x i guess i'm picking up the sattelites on the wrong lnb. any guesses as to how...
