    The problem I'm having in switching to this plan is that even thought I have a fully installed 942 w/dish1000, Dish is refusing to just send me the 622 for a self install. I told them that this was a deal breaker but they wouldn't budge. Makes no sense to me and no cents for them! BigAl

    Lately while recording and at the same time watching the show I'm recording, my 942 will freeze and reboot itself. This has happened as often as twice an hour. Has anybody else had this problem? Is this a software issue? Is my receiver defective? Thanks in advance for any help and...

    I have the same exact problem with my 811. I'm also using the DVI output. Anybody else having this bug who is not using DVI?

    To my knowledge unless you are signed up with the HD pack you would not be able to receive HBO or Showtime HD. You can only get them if you subscribe to them normally + the HD pack.
