    I keep losing about half of my recordings lately. I can get them back when I reset the receiver by hitting the red reset button but the recordings will disappear soon after. Anyone else have this issue?

    I don't know if this is available with Directv, but with Dish, I could swap back and forth between 2 channels that I was watching and be able to go back an hour on each channel. Is this possible with the HR34?

    How do I do that to the router I want to use as a switch? Will it effect the speed with it. I was going to use the second router for my Vonage and Magicjack phones. If it will be a problem using the router, I have no problem just buying an 8 port switch.
