I can't seem to locate the D* spot beams for Virginia. I'm 2 hours south of D.C. (Charlottesville) and want to receive those channels but I'm not sure I'm in that spot beam area.

Doesn't that send up a red flag for D*? Do you tell them that you have two homes? Don't they have a way of telling whether that service address actually has D*?

I've found the easiest way to do this is go to upcoming shows and then select the ones you want. You'll have to do that twice a month, but it beats deleting show after show.

It looks like my year and a half effort to get this added has finally paid off. I just hope this is for all channels and not just a few.

Mine resets in about 5 minutes. Isn't the HR34 the one with the freeze issues? Never had a freeze on my HR44, and that has been over a year.

Not to sound cynical (obviously I am:D), but this post reads like a commercial from Dish. It doesn't take 15 to 30 minutes to reset the DVR. I've never had a receiver from any provider that takes that long to reset. I know some have experienced freezing problems, but to hold off getting a HR44...

I got the same responses you did a year ago on this forum. I spent several months dealing with D* and this issue. It boggles the mind that when you are trying to accomplish something that would benefit everyone, you are met with such stifling resistance. It makes absolutely no sense.
