I don't know if this has been said already but Channel 294 is HUB. And for those that wanted Sony Movie Channel my girl has Dish....its pretty whack. It's like G4 minues Web Soup.

This is more of a TV question as opposed to a D* related question. Regardless and pair of 3D glasses will work for watching 3D.

I have wideband internet provided by TWC with uploads supposedly reaching 100mb but I usually get around 72-85 and downloads at 58mb. I pay $69.99. Fios isnt available yet or ever even though its across the street they charge 119.99 for the same service.

Time Warner Cable in my area carries everything. All the channels everyone has listed as well as the premiums in HD. As for me D* needs to add G4 and AMC and then I'd be good.

I think everything worth watching will be in HD over the next 5years more and more channels will be available in HD. As you can see their rolling out the 3D expansions :rolleyes: but hey thats my 2 cents.

Agreed @ stonecold Cinemax is very much needed. I'm glad for WGN & Starz in Black nothing worse than watching that crappy SD feed. Since D12 has the capacity for 70-80 channels hopefully G4, AMC, FuSe, and E! will be added. EpiX doesn't have any movies on there but I won't be surprised if D*...

Good for you Camper...I want Fios as well but its yet to come to my building. Fios is across the street hell its in every house on my street. By the time it becomes available I won't even care anymore. Just brooding away at my unhappiness...

Doesn't effect me at all I dont purchase PlayBoy or Spice. Come to think of it I never have, but this will lawsuit will die out quick enough.

^^ I think he was referring to the fact that we only have one Cinemax channel in HD...which is definitely a joke. West & East are the same thing.

And for an additional $99 D* will rape you completely of your funds.

Thanks for that but in my original post I said so far. If they didn't present anything it would have been a dud also because they promoted the unveiling will be on March 2nd. And anything less then stellar would have been a failure to me anyways. After seeing what they presented I'm not really...

This is probably a stupid question but will NHL Center Ice be in HD or just SD? Showtime doesn't really have any movies anymore..if I see Superhero Movie one more time I don't know what I'd do.

Overall I'm still unimpressed with this H24 sure 3.75seconds is better than 4.15 is an improvement...it still sucks. Just out of curiosity is E* this slow when changing channels? I can only go from my aunt who has E* its not a HD DVR but it took 1 second to change channels.

This sounds weird...I worked at Best Buy and I can tell you we didn't get paid by commission. And they still don't know...the approach is more laid back people come in knowing what they want to purchase already and ask a question only if they are lost. But hey I can only account for all the Best...

Thanks for the feedback...and I am going to wait a couple of months for D12 to launch or even until June when I'm one year into my contract with D* but for the short-term I'm tired of comparing so much too so little. I'm not sure where you guys live but TWC in my area has it all as well as FIOS...

I joined D* back in June of 09 with happiness. I'm still relatively satisfied with them now its just I want more premiums in HD. If I were to cancel my bill today I would be charged with a $320 ETF which I dont want to do, but will if I have too. Before D* in my city TWC is all we had before...

Yea I agree with most of the posts but HBO, real Cinemax channels and AMC HD plus what Dish, Fios, and Cable carry that D* doesn't. I dont even watch those HBO channels that aren't in HD. For 12bucks I expect more than just 1 Channel in HD. East and West is the same damn channel....@ D* Customer...

There's more that they added things I missed when I switched from TWC. They have promo images of each shows and movies and pictures of actors as well. They also have a rating system that I missed from TWC for movies. There's more but it's nap time and that's all I counted so far.

Yea I didn't lose service either but when it rains or strong gusts of wind every now and again ill get the dreaded black screen.
