Ok thanks very much for the information. I only want the receiver for ku band signals on 97W. The coolsat does pretty good but I would like to get the Luken channels. Can you recommend some receivers for me that won't break the bank. I was on 83W but moved to 97W. I find this a fun hobbie. Thanks

I am using a Coolsat 5000 and I am on 97W. This receiver does not receive the video transmission for retro tv. Will a Dreamlink T4 decode this channel?

Thanks Iceberg. Thats what I was thinking. I am new to Galaxy19. Use to have my dish poinbted at 83w for the retro channels.This sat is pretty good. Can't believe how many channels. I have managed to find about 7 or 8 that are useful. Thanks again.

With all the changes at Galaxy 19 is it neccessary to rescan constantly?

I would like to thank everyone for all the input into this thread. I now have my RTV and TUFF back on again. I suspect like everyone else it was an uplink issue. All is well now in my satelite world. Thanks again.:)

I would like to use a direct tv receiver in Canada. I have a friend in Tennesse with Direct. If I get a receiver from him will it work in Canada without plugging into the phone jack and also what degrees is the Direct pointed at. I was told 101 west is this correct.

Can you run 2 sats through a SW21 switch and then to a diseq switch in order to watch 5 sats?:rolleyes:

I have 2 coolsat 5000 aimed at amc 9. I would like to use my viewsat ultra for another tv. There is no amc 9 in the list. How do you add another sat to A viewsat ultra. Thanks for any help.
