Is it possible to use my Globecast TV subscription smartcard in my DVB World CAM smartcard reader?

I have a paid subscription to Globecast TV channels using their provided receiver. I would like to use my computer to watch these channels. I have a CAM smart card reader that is compatible with the smartcard used by Globecast. Is my smartcard married to the receiver they sent me? How can I...

Two or more Technotrend 3600 USB devices on same PC

I'ved asked this same question on all over the world. However, it seems like there is nobody on earth who has tried to use more than one of these on the same PC. At least there's no evidence of this anywhere recorded in Internet history. Will two or more of this model tuner work on the same...

Does anyone have 2 IDENTICAL USB DVB-S2 tuners on their PC?

I apologize if this is sort of a double-post. However, I thought I'd ask a more general question than any specific brand (from the DVB World USB DVB-S2 tuner thread). 51% - 53% signal quality acceptable on 97.0W transponder?

I seem to get 139 channels on the 97.0W bird. Most of the channels I pick up have a 92% signal strength and 60%-77% signal quality. I am using a regular Viewsat receiver to see the signal strength / quality. But, there is one transponder I am getting 51%-53%. Although, it hasn't changed...

Updated DVB-S2 channel list for North America

Im brand new to DVB. While I'm waiting for my DVB World DVB-S2-CA USB receiver, I'd like to know what the most up to date DVB-S2 channel list in North America. I'm very curious to see this latest standard in full effect on a PC. Heck, Ive never seen ANY HD FTA channels; just the blurry low...
