Stupid question, I know, but I still feel compelled to ask anyway... If you run current CE firmware MRV is still not going to be available to you unless you cough up the $3 a month, right? I used to really love DIRECTV but lately the nickle and diming is causing that love to wane.

Under the hood? If you revert from CE back to national you will lose the guide cache, recordings made after CE, recordings played back since CE, Series Manager entries and the To Do list. This seems like a little more work going on than just under the hood.

The show options updates and thumbnail for the show are a nice touch too. It's easier to modify the options for a series if you need to do something and it seems to flow better within the menu structure. Nice, I like it.

Greeted with a MRV config menu upon update. Looks like you will be able to control your content better if you want. Doesn't really interest me though.
