Does anyone know if there is a way to connect the receiver to a computer so you can use a DVD recorder on the computer to burn recorded programs? Or is there anyway to get the recorded stuff of of the receiver without a DVD recorder hooked to the tv?

different cable. When I bought my house it was fulling installed for cable use, but i new I didn't want to use that calbe for the dish setup. It sounds like when the Dish guys set up your receiver it was easier for them to connect the second TV to the existing calbe running through your house...

Mine stutters and freezes Mine also has problems with recorded shows or if you rewind and rewatch a show. It will stutterand sometimes the sound stops for a second. It is also in duel mode. I haven't tried it in single mode. Maybe after reading this tread i will. It is very annoying!
