So in a nutshell, those of us who ordered online or thru Dish are getting screwed with delays after delays, while "local" installers get them installed? If thats the case, they can shove their service.

I was just rescheduled for the sixth (and final) time for the 17th - I ordered a month ago today and my 5th install slot for tomorrow was just moved another week. The installer guy is nice, it has to be just as frustrating for him to have 20+ (by my estimation) jobs ready to go just waiting...

I ordered Dec 9th, my 5th scheduled install is now for January 9th, and I would give 50:1 odds that will be cancelled also.. 30 days is optimistic given the current promotion.

Agree, those of us in the New Orleans area are going thru the same thing.. I'm tentatively scheduled for this Sunday, and one current dish owner on our local HD discussion board said that 811s reached Dallas yesterday so perhaps this will stay on. I try to step back and look at it rationally...

Same here, none in stock in Louisiana, can't get them from Dallas either.. ordered 12/8, first install slated for 12/11, then 12/14, now pushed back to 12/21 .. or 2004 :P
