    I finally got a clue: when using 1000.4 dish we need 72.7 to get the DVR activated. My Vip722K was able to download software as soon as I re-pointed 1k4 and got a signal strength about 50-55 on 72.7 So, problem is now solved. Thanks guys for your help!

    No luck. I did it several times but the DVR keeps Acquiring Satellite and rebooting (sometimes)

    This is my first installation of 1k4 + ViP722K. 61.5W shows up as a green box on Port 3 after running Check Switch (72&77 - connected but no signal) Acutrac 22 detects a good signal on all 3 LNBs but my DVR is unable to download software from satellite. Is there any way to upgrade DVR...
