I think having the cars racing in international races, and having the plot dealing with espionage and "secret agents" will add a fun twist and should provide an interesting story.

John Lasseter is co-directing, so you know it will be in good hands. Since taking over all of Disney animation, he's obviously had a say in a lot of the recent films, but I'm sure he's enjoying getting to play director again for this film.

Hi All - Here from Disney, just wanted to share the new teaser for Cars 2, which is coming out during the summer of 2011. Who here saw the first one? Are you excited that Pixar's next film will be Cars 2?

It's actually been getting very strong early reviews. Jim Hill Media has a nice write up on the footage he saw, and he actually said that the film is enjoyable and entertaining to both adults and kids.
