Dishes we have seen -- post yours!

Here is a pic of my setup. I finally got the birdview put up today. No lnbf or alignment yet, but that is easy compared to getting that dish on the pole. I've had the dish for a year and a half, and it was probably sitting on the ground for 15 years, so I had some work to do. Had to replace...

Help with 6' WSI polar mount dish setup

Oh, i guess i should have added, I get 139w to 91w. I can go lower, but i dont have enough magnets on the wheel of my von weise to dial in on the lower sats. I tried for 87w or 83w and had trouble getting any TP's to give me enough signal. I can find the birds, but if I move it 1 click past...

Help with 6' WSI polar mount dish setup

I installed the L plate down, because on my setup it seemed to keep the actuator more linear than the other way. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that it was better for the actuator to only have to work in a linear plane, rather than working at an angle. There is some slop in my setup...

Help with 6' WSI polar mount dish setup

I never was able to find a manual or anything like that when I installed my 6' dish. I just had to rely on pics of other people's install and that horrible exploded diagram of the dish that was included in the package. I've found that its mainly a trial and error setup for this dish. I've...

I see the rest of the country is interested. Does the NW have fewer people interested in fta compared to the rest of the country? Just kinda generally speaking.

Free to good home 10ft Perfect Ten

I'm in no rush to get it moved, just wanted to find a new home for it. Any truck should haul it just fine. Ya its in 4 panels, and they are 5' tall. I dont know of any suv/van that would be able to haul them, but a ranger(or that size class) should have no problem.

Free to good home 10ft Perfect Ten

I have a 10' Perfect Ten dish available to anyone who wants it. I got it from someone local and have never gotten around to putting it up. We recently purchased a house in a town, and I wont be able to put it up here. So instead of storing it forever, I'd rather pass it along to another...

Contest: Enter To Win by Telling a Story! S2 Digital Satellite Meter w/Spectrum Analyzer from Satell

How tall of pole needed above ground

My co-worker had a bud about 20 years ago, and they long ago removed the dish, but the pipe is still attached to the side of their house. They have 2 10 ft sticks, attached together with a coupling. So I'll have 1 10 ft stick and whatever I can salvage from the one in concrete. Snow...
