Ok i just took a brand new MicroHd out of the box and it says the firmware is 2012-8-30 and i noticed that the latest one from SatAv is the 2013-2-18,so i'am thinking before any scans or hookup to a satellite just do an upgrade via the usb,factory reset and power off like the instructions...

I have a Eagle Aspen 5x4 model number S-4140-GX and the question is weather i can use this switch with an amplified signal from the ota antenna?:confused:

Yea it is an 18 inch bracket, thought that the 18 inch was a dish 300 but i have been wrong before!

Maybe someone as already mentioned this but all three channels are HD!

Maybe some are curious about what i mean by a dish 300/500, i just changed the deflector off a dish 500 and put it on a dish 300,holes matched perfectly no mods required. As they always say bigger is better!

I don't have the savy of most of you on this site,but all i know is i'am watching those channels now on an old dish 300/500 with the old circular lnb,set on 11250! Oh yea OpenboxS9.

Two six foot fixed dishes!

Two six foot fixed prime focus dishes with either the 741 standard or the 242 duel polarity lnb's with ota antenna going to 4 receivers,most likely need four diplexers in there as well.

Was thinking about buying one for a system that i am thinking about putting togather. Any other brands that come to mind that are compariable to the Eagle 5x4,Thanks!

May wont to check which firmware you have in the receiver,there was an issue with the motor control in the early versions,not quite certain as to what issues there where but that could be your problem!

If i had to guess and i am,but if the temp has'nt been much above freezing lately i would say it is simply froze from water getting into the nooks and crannies!

Yes the 1.45 appears to be the latest factory file,and yes it would return the receiver to factory status.Just go thru and write down your settings in the menu if you cannot remember them,do a factory reset and download the 1.45 file,reset settings and rescan the satellites!

I had another dish offered to me for free about three weeks ago,this thing was huge had to be a 12 footer,single lnb arm with a very big flat type lnb that was rectangular and vertical to the arm,in a fenced back yard with a dog so could not get a closer look. Just got back home from looking at a mesh dish,measured it across fomm side to side and it was 7.5 feet(not sure if this is how to measure)could it actualy be an 8 footer if you measured it from the side to center? It is a prime focus dish that says Sami on the side of the lnb housing,not sure...
