    Ok I understand how its works now, so its not for me. I do have locals thru over the air signal, but CBS is VHS signal and its 47 miles away and just comes in on good days only. Looks like the tree will stay for a while longer. Thanks everyone.

    Frank, Picked up a used BIRDOG ver4 USB PLUS, it has Dishnentwork satellites on it. I checked my current 1000.2 and all came in 100% Q. I am aming a old DTV single LNBF @ 40.7 UP 160 swing as per dishpointer site. The Birdog does not see this FOUND untill I am DUE SOUTH. and of course it not...

    Thought I read that the older Direct tv lnb's were compatible with dish since they had no internal switch. Yes the 1000.2 does have three lines out for receivers and one port in for adding additional dish. I want 110;119;129; and 77. 129 does not have my HD LOCALS
