How to transfer data to replacement 922. Getting tired of reloading timers and favorites. 3rd 922 coming tomorrow since March.

Starting to have doubts on 922. Getting my third one tomorrow since March. Modem apparently went out. I checked phone connection. Line is ok. Reseated lines. Anyone have ideas?

This also happened to me along with partial guide downloads and error 004. I am thinking these are all signs of a failing 922.

This happened to me also on several occasions. I was advised to do a reset which would fix the issue. Later I started getting the 004 errors and a very hot receiver. Dish replaced, all seems ok now after two days.

Well Dish brought out a new receiver.... Fast service which is great. Hope it was the overheating receiver.

Worked fine yesterday after a soft reset, now this morning nothing. I can watch recordings. Receiver can't link with Sats. Test of check switch yields 38??? Which I'm told is not good. Do you think this a receiver going bad?

I hear no Fan at all. Turned on TV this morning and had to reset it again to get it too work. No error msg this time. Called DishTV and they are sending out a company tech with a new Receiver. Receiver sits in a opened cabinet, no door.

Received the error last two days. Tech just left and couldn't find problem. First VIP 922 he had seen. He mentioned that the 922 was really hot. He disconnected cable and checked the sat antenna and cables. Appears to be ok. Reconnected antenna after about 10-15 mins. Receiver, was now cool...

What happened to the OTA? I just had the 922 installed yesterday replacing my 722. I too was dismayed the there was no OTA. Tech support says it will not work, sales says I have to buy the $50 OTA. How did you get dish to provide you the OTA? Easy setup? Thanks Gary
