The N America Sat file is only valid for the WS-6908 and only includes FTA sats.

When I started this hobby I bought an inexpensive 180cm solid panel dish and a c/Ku combo LNB. The dish was not well made but I was able to receive est 80% of the C band transponders in my limited arc viewing angle. You might have difficulty in receiving DVB S2 transponders on C band.

If you do a rescan when LPB is blank you will find that there is a sporting event on the same transponder using different symbol rates or id's.

All transponders on 95W are also blank for me even though I have a Q of 76. Its been that way for the better part of a week now.

I purchased a 90cm GeoSat Pro dish just to get PBS transponders on 125! About 6 months ago OETA signal went below the noise level but can get all the others. Go figure? I use the S1PLL LNB. Even tried to repeak the dish but still no joy.

Just set up a 90Cm GeoSat Pro dish with S1Pll LNB for 125W using MicroHD and am experiencing the same issues of weak reception and "jumpy" signal levels. I find 12180V is stronger than most but have the more of a problem with 12112V OETA. I even tried using mirrors to check the best focal point...

I am also disappointed they are no longer available (at a reasonable price). Tried to purchase one a couple months ago but was unsuccessful. My last one was fried due to lightning. Hope someone picks up the slack in the future!

Black will help melt ice/snow in the winter on metal dishes. Would not go darker than neutral gray for fiberglass dishes.

FWIW I have the same issue with those 2 transponders. Also using the MicroHD but using the DMX741 C/Ku combo LNB.

Try it as is, then once you get a baseline make changes and see if there is an improvement.
