Can local HD channels be recieved with a Slimline 3 LNB dish or is a 5 LNB required to receive local HD channels. Thanks.

Doing some installation research and it says you need a meter to tune the dish. Is a meter required or can you tune the dish with a reciever just watching the signal meter on the receiver box? Thanks.

Thanks for the tips. Selected the correct dish and now the D12 is working fine and no need to step in to a new 2 year contract...I'll keep what I have for now and see how things turn out. In the mean time if a new Slimline shows for cheap I will upgrade.
