The common belief out there (from Sports Business Journal, among others) is that the NY Post article is "over stated". And, that IF it does happen ... it'll be no sooner than Nov. 10-- when the NFLN begins it's slate of live games...

I was referring to the comment about TWC and the NFL Network (not the ABC/Disney deal). They don't have a deal for it (and/or Red Zone) and don't seem to be inclined to make one.

Yep ... I'm in that same boat. I had Dish a couple of years ago and it was not only expensive (to not have the TWC bundle), but it was also very annoying to lose signal every time it drizzled outside. I'd love to have the NFLN (and MASN here in NC)-- but TWC seems very willing to lose subs...

You don't need a new dish. If you do, then we all do. It's a DN issue for all of the RDU area customers. Now, you may decide that you need a new provider. I did-- TWC is coming out the minute my contract is up-- 2 weeks from yesterday.

Must have gotten fixed after 6:45am. When I left this morning, 17 and 50 (HD versions) were still down.

No tech will help. This is a Dish problem. I would guarantee that no Dish customers in Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill are getting NBC-17 and Fox-50 in HD. Another reason why I can't wait to dump Dish when my contract runs out in 2 weeks. I'm going back to cable. That tells you what I think of...
