You need the most recent version of the TiVo Desktop software to publish your music and photos. The free version will work, if you can find a copy. It is available from TiVo, not DirecTv.

Sorry Jimbo, I should have clarified that. The cable company here does not charge extra, so you pay in the end. Each box is $7 per month. Thats for HD and SD. Whole home DVR is $13 per account and works with all of you STBs. They also don't charge an additional HD fee.

Get rid of the lease fee plus 2 year agreement. No cable company around here charges an up front fee to aquire equipment. If I do a self install there shold be no agreement added to my account.

Even if the app presented them as seperate I would be able to manage them from one app in one place.

Or at least make the to do lists come up on the tablet/phone app.

Update: I am scheduled for a Genie install on Thursday. Unfortnatley it is suposed to snow/rain so I may move the date up to the following week. The access card department sent me cards for my existing equipment and I got that stuff up and running on Friday night.
