MicroHD, Five LNBs, One 4x1 DiSeqc Switch.

Fat Air, I did not mean to actually said simultaneously, I meant to say with the setup that I have now. A cluster of Ku band LNBF satellites(4) using the 4x1 DiSeqc and a single C band satellite dish using a 22khz inline with the 4x1 DiSeqc. It sure would be nice if we could receive both Ku...

MicroHD, Five LNBs, One 4x1 DiSeqc Switch.

Okay, after spending some time trying to make this work, I came to the conclusion that the best thing to do is to invest in the 8x1 DiSeqc switch mentioned by A Raine. Tried every of the above suggestions with no good results. Even though 30W is not quite coming in strong because of the partial...

Weekend experiment for 30W with a little dish

The next door neighbor tree(s) are about 100' from my property, pine trees and they are over 75' tall, there use to be an opening between them, but one of them sprouted more limbs, no LOS, have to relocate the pole. My dish is already located as far away as possible from the offending tree.

Was receiving 30W using a Superdish for quite a while, very good reception in the high 70%. Now having problems, tree branches on the next door neighbor grown out too big, blocking LOS. Might have to relocate the dish.

    Powermax24 Actuator Problem

Hello good people, I have just given my Powermax 24 a new lease on life. The problem was not with the plastic nut, but the bearing that keeps the inner shaft centered. The bearing discentegrated spilling the ball bearings out. The inner screw that pushes the rod shaft in and out, retained the...

Signal Strength Bar Goes On and Off

Came across two "Gecen" SW-03/P 0/22Khz controlled switches, and the system is responding much better. The SW21 switch was working, but some times I had to turn the receiver off and on for the channels to come back on. When using the SW21 switch, the signal quality seem to be much better than...

Signal Strength Bar Goes On and Off

Sorry for not responding sooner. I think that the problem was caused mostly by a bad coax connection... My system is not too complicated, The six foot dish is being moved by a Powermax PMA24 which is powered by a Gbox, and using a WSI ESX242 LNBF... The three foot dish is moved by a GeoSat...
