I made the switch to the Welcome Package and, while I get the HD local channels( example, channel 10 and channel 10HD), I don't get an HD picture with the channel. I get the black bars on the side. HD sample channels like the Sony Movie Channel are in full HD. Is there a reason for this?

I just got off the phone with a CSR and said upfront that I needed the 1000.4 dish. We still ran a series of tests and jumped through hoops to establish that I wasn't getting any of the missing HD channels. A technician is coming by tomorrow to install the new dish. Hopefully all will go well...

The CSR I spoke with yesterday pretty much said that I was unable to get these channels because I was on the Eastern Arc. (I live Southeast of Boston, MA) It seems like they just wanted to avoid having to come down and install an extra dish.
