    Disney Networks Dispute Recitifed

For $5, it's almost not worth the call. There is a certain website (that I'm probably not supposed to mention here) that streams most college football games free.

Dish and DirecTV once again in talks despite antitrust.

As somebody who has switched back and forth between DirecTV and Dish over the years, one plus for DirecTV is that it has much more 4K offerings. I assume a merger would help in that regard.

Dish and DirecTV once again in talks despite antitrust.

This is the only hope of Dish subscribers ever again having access to regional sports networks.

    RSN Channels

My Dish contract runs out next month, so I'm exploring options (including streaming) as alternatives. The only ones that offer RSNs (at least for where I live) are DirecTV and DirecTV stream. For DirecTV, you are charged a monthly $7.37 "regional sports fee." There are no real "deals" to change...

Ads (not part of recording) while watching recordings on the app?

My usual routine in the morning is to watch the first part of the "Today" show on DVR on the phone app as I'm getting ready in the morning. To my surprise today, when I started, I got an ad that wasn't part of the recording and that I couldn't skip or fast-forward through. Later, there were FOUR...

Sinclair warns of 112 channels being dropped by DISH next Monday (8/16)

During the Dish dispute with WRAZ & WRAL, Dish gave me an antenna that's mounted on our roof. We can get all of the stations clearly. After the dispute ended, I had no reason to add locals for whatever that costs. I wonder if I have to give the antenna back should I decided to end my Dish...

It will likely not be available to viewers in the Triangle area of North Carolina unless the dispute with WRAL (the NBC affiliate) is resolved. Past 4K NBC presentations during the dispute have been blocked on the 4K channel.

    dish and the RSN's

From Sinclair's CEO Chris Ripley after the release of the company's first-quarter report: "On your question related to Dish, we really can’t be renegotiating in public with Dish for I think obvious reasons, but I will note that we have had tremendous success with the traditional (cable and...

    Dish Dropping MASN

I complained and was able to get the sports pack free for three months. My programming level doesn't include MLB Network, and this gives me that channel as well as the Strike Zone Channel. I still have ZERO options to see Orioles and Nationals games, though.

    Dish Dropping MASN

For ACC fans who are Dish customers, having MASN was nice because, during this school year, MASN was picking up ACC broadcasts for regional sports networks. I hope this is temporary but I'm quite sure it isn't.

WRAL, WRAZ off Dish menu in North Carolina

One station (WTVD) wasn't coming in consistently with the antenna, so a tech came back and mounted the antenna that was in our living room on our roof. Now, all of the stations (except the ION station, which I don't care about) come in clearly. So, I've canceled the local channels via Dish. The...

WRAL, WRAZ off Dish menu in North Carolina

This dispute hasn't been resolved but at least Dish gave me a solution. It hooked me up with an antenna that connects with the DVR so that I can now record shows/games on both channels. I can now save the $12 a month I pay for local channels. That would also mean losing Primetime Anytime, though.

WRAL, WRAZ off Dish menu in North Carolina

We just finished a dispute that kept CBS affiliate WNCN off the menu for a couple of weeks. Now WRAL, the CBS affiliate, and WRAZ, the Fox affilate in central North Carolina is off because of another dispute. This is getting old. https://www.newsobserver.com/news/local/article248133985.html
