Anyways, got a 622 hd dvr coming in the mail now and picked up a black dish that says dish hd on it. Is this a 1000.2? I aimed it for the hell of it with my current 625...

Thanks Gary for the info. Thing is, I'm just gonna have a tech come out for 65.00. The rep said he will give me whatever I need to get the hd's and said he'll throw up a hd dish for no extra charge. Would rather just pay the couple extra bucks and get it done right.

Gotcha Gary. I planned on waiting to have the 722 in and then hook the dish to it and use the sig strength to aim better. If I mess with the 625 I have now and put up the new dish, I'd be sol with no tv until my 722 comes in. Good point, I am waiting to hook it all up when I have everything. Lol.

Damn! Meant to say nice Allen!!!! If I had to rig it, the way I am, I'd definitly screw it up! Love to try it but rather try getting the feed arm too with bracket or a whole damn new 1000 dish

Nice Gary! Ok. I'll look for one of those too halo. Back to one quick thing. When I get the right lnb's, can I still use the one line currently going into the dish 500 I have or do those hd lnb's require more than a single cable. With just the one receiver, I'd love to keep it simple.

True dat halo! I believe I have the LOS but who know's. lol. I did find a 1000.4 EA lnb on ebay for 15.00. It's just the lnb unit and doesn't have the dish included. Could that just bolt up to the 500 or the 500 plus I have and work?

Cool. Thanks man!!! I will check into that. Btw, I have my roof top antenna still hooked up to my tv so if it's just locals I'd miss out on, I'm not worried about that. So you are saying that if I aim my current dish 500 to those orbitals, I could pick up hd's(except locals)?

My buddy has a dish that says dish super that looks almost identical to this one. Could that be hd? If not, what do I look for to get hd? Thanbks for the reply.
