    1000.2 vs 1000.4 dish

Thanks, I'll do that. I'm confident about the install, it's a local company with a good reputation.

    1000.2 vs 1000.4 dish

I actually decided that before your post, and will be going with his decision of the .2 but was confused by his original suggestion for the .4.

    1000.2 vs 1000.4 dish

BTW, the receiver is 722k not 722 standard. The installer is now pushing for the .2 with struts instead of .4 stating it is smaller, lighter and newer. Should I insist on .4, or does it really matter? Nebraska 68005 edit: This is long term and I want the BEST reception. Thanks

    1000.2 vs 1000.4 dish

Thanks stardust, That was my thinking. My neighbor 2 doors down has dish with struts and loves it, 3 doors down is mast only and he really hates it. Even wind ruins his signal. Also gald to hear about 722 from OP. I can still run 2 TVs (1-hdtv, 1-sdtv), and it's cheaper. The 2nd TV is free...

    1000.2 vs 1000.4 dish

Same question. I live in Bellevue Nebraska 68005. Also, the installer stated the .4 was larger and would include brackets(struts) I requested. Also, installer recommended .2 over .4 but not for arc, he stated it was a lighter dish. This is long term (more than 2 years) I want the BEST setup...

    ? Reception Dish Network

Thanks for the response. I can't make a mistake on this with a very limited income. Currently have Cox so I could watch debates and election ($72/month no box, nothing but cable connected directely to tv). I've already made call for disconnect, but looking for a reasonable alternative. Any...

    ? Reception Dish Network

I would like to go with Dish Network, for the channel lineup and pricing. I'm concerned with all the negetive comments from friends, co-workers and neighbors. I haven't found one person who recommends Dish. They all claim wind, lite rain, lite snow, partly cloudy etc will cause problems. Is...

    ? HD vs Digital

Sorry for delayed response, I'm working two jobs. Thanks for the info, now planning on top120, free HD for life seals it. With free Hopper, do I need HD receiver and joey in second room, or does joey serve as receiver and dvr? What is monthly cost for dvr service and 1 Joey? Thanks again.

    ? HD vs Digital

Hi All, Newbie to Satellite TV. I’m interested in the Dish Network Basic $19.99 with Local. I’ve had cable for a week now with SD cable direct to two TVs [no box], with a cable amplifier. They are connected to two Samsung HDTV’s with very good SD upconversion, and the PQ is surprisingly good...
